·         Toll free number is ‘1924’. This number is available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, excluding declared holidays and Sundays.

Complaint Registration Process at Post Office

·         The complaint or suggestion book is available in all post offices. It will provide to customer, when demanded.
·         Complaint for value payable articles will be lodged at office of booking.
·         PLI / RPLI complaints will hand over to deputy divisional manager.
·         There 11, 103 Sevottam complaint customer care centers available in country.
·         If still the complaint is not solved then contact them through India post customer care number.

Complaint Registration Process at Online

·         First fill the required details in the form and then press the submit button.
·         A reference number will be generated, which will be used further to track your compliant.
·         For domestic or international corporate complaints, login with your credentials on India postal office website home page.
·         There you will get customer support icon on the top right corner. Again you will get track you’re compliant as sub menu and then download Excel template.
·         Fill the Excel template with complaint details and upload this in the website, the click submit button.
·         Finally, you will get a mail with complaint registration details.

Remember Points:

Before sending speed mail, you must remember some points. Those are:

·         For Some mails proof of delivery is must.
·         If the recipient is not available then we deliver to neighbors, so check the neighbors.
·         Don’t send prohibited and restricted items.
·         If it is not delivered to recipient the mail will keep at post office for 18 days.
·         If it is not delivered and full postage wasn’t paid, we will keep it for 18 days at post office.
·         If it is not delivered and custom charge is due, we will keep it for 21 days at post office.
·         Before sending mail to foreign countries, check the international delivery times in postal department of India's official website.
